The Pacific Screenwriting Program is building a vibrant screenwriter community in British Columbia by providing a training ground for BC’s aspiring and active screenwriters. Combining real-world story-room experience, mentorship, bootcamps, workshops and information sessions, the program equips writers with the skills, experience, and connections necessary to establish a sustainable career in the province’s dynamic screen industry.

Q&A with Martin Gero
Join the PSP for an intimate Q&A with Martin Gero, creator and showrunner of NBC’s hit drama Blindspot which will reach 100 episodes this year.
Martin also created the critically acclaimed CW series THE LA COMPLEX, and helped run all three seasons of HBO’s BORED TO DEATH, staring Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis, as well as serving as an EP on ABC’s DECEPTION. Gero started out working on STARGATE ATLANTIS for Syfy eventually rising to Executive Producer.
The event will be hosted by Kat Montagu an award-winning screenwriting instructor at Vancouver Film School and the author of The Dreaded Curse of Screenplay Formatting (available as a bestselling eBook on Amazon).
